Boy, I haven’t updated the news here for a while.

Firstly, I know that the only blog search feature currently working in “Comment Sniper” is Google Blog search. The other 3 sources require script updating which we plan to have completed within the next few weeks.

I’m actually in negotiations to pass the whole “Comment Sniper” project onto someone who can nurse it a bit more than I’ve been able to over the past few months. It’s a bit of a shame as with over 7,000 users it’s a great piece of kit and I simply haven’t had time to focus on it for you. I sincerely apologize about that but it’s just one of those things and a long story that I wont get into in great detail here. In short I realigned my own business goals late last year and continuing with the development of this software just doesn’t fit in with those at the current time.

The good news is that the new owner (you’ll probably know who it is when we’ve finalized things) is going to be able to ensure that the software is working at 100% performance, 100% of the time (well as close to it as possible). Not only that but he has some exciting “blog commenting” developments in the pipeline that you wont want to miss to help with your SEO and traffic generation. I’ll send more details about this shortly but I know you’ll find it pretty impressive.

In other news, for the past few months we’ve been quietly working on a new Free Contextual Link Exchange Plugin for WordPress. If you blog using WordPress and want to generate EASY and highly targeted incoming links at no cost, just for blogging like you usually would (seriously - once you install and setup the Wordpress Plugin which takes all of five minutes and then there’s nothing else you need to do), you’ll want to check this out.
